Descripción de la organización:

“Together Estonia” is one of the independent representatives of Together network organisations (www.network-together.eu). It is a non-political, non-profit making youth organisation created in 2006 by young people leading an active social life, believing in cross-European cooperation and intercultural experience, and wishing to get more experience in this field through developing various projects, mainly in the frames of the European Programme “Youth in Action” and Erasmus+.

"Together” is a pan-European network of youth organisations, and it includes independent youth organisations in all over EU, as well as outside of it.
Our main aims are giving youth possibilities for creative development, spreading of European culture in the field of non-formal education through international youth exchanges, Volunteering projects, promotion of realisation of cultural, art and sport projects, spreading information about and for youth, etc.

In order to achieve its aims, “Together Estonia” organises activities and develops projects based on non-formal education, organises seminars, information days, exhibitions, performances, various sport and culture activities and so on, as well as co-operates with other similar organisations of Estonia and other countries.

Special attention of the organisation is paid to the involvement in active participation of young people with special needs and fewer opportunities in general. This type of young people is the most challenging to work with, but nevertheless, it is exactly them that need the most of attention and support and non-formal education projects, that “Together Estonia” is coordinating are the best means for their inclusion.

We have an experience of working with all kind of disadvantaged young people:
- with the Russian minorities, especially from the small villages and disadvantaged geographical regions close to the boarder of Russia;
- with young people with hearing disabilities. We have several people in the team, who know the sign language and who can facilitate the integrational projects between deaf and hearing people that we have already successfully realized in the past and that we still plan to do;
- Young people with educational difficulties, to whom the projects we are offering can be a great opportunity to improve their competences;
- With young people from difficult economical situations, for whom the international project might be the first and only possibility to go abroad and meet new people from other countries and cultures, etc.
