Description de l'organisation

Our charity is located in Bicester, England and exists to develop youth and to train youth workers. While we established ourselves as a charity in 2008, for the past fourteen years we have worked locally with many young people in the schools and community offering activities such as drop-in clubs, youth clubs, mentoring, assistance in classroom lessons and youth leadership development. We observe that a majority of the young people who are attracted to our programmes come from disadvantaged backgrounds and struggle to engage with the educational system as well as struggle to find employment.

In addition to this our local youth work, our charity also trains youth workers across the country through a gap year and placement-based degree we help deliver in partnership with Springdale College and York St John University. Our roles are to recruit acceptable candidates, facilitate lectures, coach students in placements and support students academically and emotionally.
