The A-TOll youth centre is located in Amstetten in Lower Austria. The center is a meeting point for young people from 12 and 21 years. Most of its visitors have different backgrounds (social, religious, educational, cultural...). There are different leisure activities for young people (board games, internet, skate, basket, etc.) and we also organize different theme workshops (dj, AIDS prevention, etc.). A-TOLL also offers to Amstetten´s youth orientation about employment, legal issues, sexuality,etc. The supervisors in A-TOLL are socialpedagogic and social worker.

For a better insight about the work in the youth center we present you the regular activites:

*The A-TOLL has open from Tuesday till Sunday from 14:00 - 20:00 o´clock.
*During this time the supervisors organise different activites and projects which are based on topics for the youngsters.
*Shortly before the open area opens, there are discussions about the day before and a generel reflection of planned projects and activities.
*After the conversations in team there are some preparations in the open area. Putting the fruits in the kitchen, preparing cash money for selling food and drinks.
*During the whole day the supervisors are doing a lot of activites together with the youngsters (Billard, playing table tennis, Foosball, Playstation, Board games, DJ-Room, Gym room, Girls
room).
*Directly on the area there is a huge opportunity for sport activities like Volleyball place, Funcourt and Skate park.
*During the open hours we discuss with the youngsters about different topics, making creative things like "do it yourselfs", upcycling projects, drawing and help them for job applications in the
work station. A main task in the youth center is also to support them in critical situations and conduct consultations. Typical topics are for example: conflict with the family, mobbing,
sexuality, boy or girlfriend, drugs and alcohol, school, mental problems, etc.
* At 20:00 o´clock the A-TOLL is closed. Till 20:30 o´clock there is a final meeting between the social workers for reflecting about the whole day.In general the work with the youngsters is diversified and interesting. For someone who is interested in different cultures and youth topics, this volunteering time in A-TOLL is unforgettable and enriching.
