La Châtaigneraie is a residential home for 15 young people aged 3 to 18.
The raison d'être of the institution is to educate and prepare these children for a future outwith its walls. The children need support and structure, they need to learn self-care all the while being cared for by a team who tries very hard to replicate a family environment. The kids have been damaged by life, even when they are very young and La Châtaigneraie is there to enable them to grow into well-rounded persons through care, affection and support.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
