Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Nuoret Kotkat (NKK) is a non-governmental children’s organization operating in 13 districts around Finland. Nuoret Kotkat organizes various safe and affordable activities for children and youth, including camps, clubs and afternoon care, non-formal education and international activities. Nuoret Kotkat also acts as a children’s interest group on regional and national level. Activities and work are based on following values: equality, internationalism, justice, democracy, communality, solidarity and sustainability. Additionally we base our work on children’s rights and child and youth participation. Nuoret Kotkat is member of international and Nordic organisations of the “Falcon movement” and co-operates with them on international projects, trainings and camps. Work of Nuoret Kotkat is carried out mainly on volunteer basis.
