The foundation Baltic Regional fund is a non-governmental organization whose aim is to promote the development of civil society, non-formal education, intercultural dialogue and inclusion, to develop youth work and creative ideas. The organization is located in Riga but organizes regular activities all around in Latvia and collaborates on the European level implementing youth and educational projects.

The mission of the organization is to: Develop, promote, inspire and support the creative ideas of various members of civil society through training, projects, consultations and non-formal learning activities. Provide opportunities for young people to realize their potential and support them in growing and achieving their goals.

BRF main objectives are: - Promotion of civil society; - Providing work with young people; - Promotion, provision and promotion of volunteering;- Promotion, implementation and development of lifelong learning activities / programs; - Implementation and promotion of non-formal education activities; - Development and distribution of educational materials; - Promotion of interinstitutional cooperation.

To achieve these goals, BRF has a youth center - BaMbuss, which is a multifunctional, organic, attractive and progressive place where youngsters learn and improve their skills and abilities through various activities and volunteering, gain new experience and can spend their free time effectively.

Members of the foundation enhance the idea of friendly and peaceful world by promoting intercultural dialogue, equality and respecting individuality. In our work we use different non-formal education methods, including discussions, statements, group work, forum theater etc. Especially these activities are promoted in BaMbuss, where BRF organize a multi-faceted youth activities - workshops, non-formal learning, discussions and specialized clubs, train volunteers and developing mentoring and peer support network and provide career counseling. The activities of the organization open the door to new experience, knowledge and opportunities, promoting non-formal and informal learning, as well as more active citizenship.

BaMbuss volunteers are involved in developing ideas, planning, implementing and evaluating activities. It ensures active youth participation and activity in topics of interest, as well as promotes the development of young people's professional and personal competencies.
