MTÜ Päevakeskus Vinger was founded 15 years ago in order to provide special care for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to provide our clients with various activities that improve their daily-life and individual capabilities (such as cooking, housekeeping and communication. Our activity tutors have years of experience in the field including years of experiences with volunteers (including local volunteers).
Our daycare center provides flexible working hours and the tasks are definitely not routine.
Individual approach, respect towards eachother and our differences are our core operating principles.
Our daycare center's strenght is our long experience in the field. The volunteers are free to fulfill their ideas and activities within our organisation.
Role of volunteer is offering new ecxpierences and broadering knowlidge about other countries and cultures. Very important is the formation of a friendship that lasts even after the end of the year.Volunteer is insured - language training, free lunch, free participation in events - concert, exhibition, excursion, SPA
accommodation, in dwellings with adequate privacy and amenities, mentor,participation in the prescribed trainings,Supportive and friendly reception by the team and customers, we receive and, if possible, help the volunteer guests (family, friends)
