Citywise Education is a registered charity. It provides in-school and after school educational programmes for young people from socially disadvantaged back grounds. There is a small dynamic core staff who work with a large number of volunteers, making learning more enjoyable for young people leading them to take greater responsibility for their own education.

Citywise programmes help to raise the aspirations of young people and provide them with tailored and age appropriate supports. Young people learn to work hard, acquire study habits and develop their academic ambition. Recognising the threat that drugs, gangs and crime present to a young person’s future, Citywise Education gives importance to personal development. We see that achievement cannot be separated from character and as such, Citywise emphasises the importance of character development, personal qualities and the need for each young person to volunteer and serve others.
