Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Fundacja EBU is a non-profit organization focused on intercultural education, active citizenship and developing youth work in the local community of Minsk Mazowiecki.
Our main objectives are:
- development of intercultural dialogue,
- intercultural education and increasing the awareness of other cultures,
- promoting tolerance and unterstanding,
- fighting discrimination and xenophobia,
- facilitating the discovery of individual cultural identity,
- improving social skills,
- promoting and implementing voluntary service,
- promoting and implementing nonformal education,
- integrating local community.
We realise our aims through the following activities:
- implementing trainings and workshops on intercultural dialogue and social skills for children, youth and adults,
- organising free time activities and cultural animation projects,
- organising intercultural meetings and events open for local community,
- realising international youth projects: exchanges, training courses, seminars, conferences,
- organising and facilitating voluntary service projects,
- animating free time and holiday activities for children and youth,
- running an information and coaching center on personal and professional development for youth,
- regular activities within the development and management of a youth center,
- individual projects and innitiatives suggested and developed by organisation's members or volunteers.
We focus our activities on youth and we involve young people in activities designed to benefit other target groups. Every summer we organise a big summer camp for kids with the international group of volunteers. During the year we realise many projects designed for teenagers and young adults. We implement frequently events for the whole local community.
