Vasilitsa Association is a non-governmental organization with public-benefit activities, established in 2008, with the mission “In the name of the child and their family.”
Our work is dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families from diverse social backgrounds, with a special focus on children and young people at risk and those from vulnerable communities, including the Roma community.
Main Activities and Target Groups:
Organizing educational and cultural initiatives for children and youth;
Providing social and advisory services for families at risk;
Implementing field work and preventive programs to reduce school dropout;
Promoting social inclusion and integration of children and youth of Roma origin;
Cooperating with schools, municipalities, and partner organizations to build a more inclusive environment.
Our Target Groups:
Children and youth (including those from Roma communities);
Parents and families at risk;
Teachers, social workers, and other professionals working with children and families.
Mission and Goals:
Our mission is to protect and support the rights of children and families by creating the conditions for their full development, education, and social integration.
Our main goals are to:
Improve access to quality education and social services;
Prevent the social exclusion of children and families;
Promote inclusive education and intercultural dialogue;
Build sustainable partnerships with institutions, NGOs, and communities.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
