Descripción de la organización:

EIVA Association is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation established in 2009 as a voluntary based organisation focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle. In 2013 there were made consistent changes in regards with the name, status and activities. In the same time the organisation was gaining more visibility and a higher impact in the community.
Our main goal is to develop solutions in order to foster the progress in the society trough education and active participation of young people.
The objectives of EIVA are:
• Developing educational projects targeting various groups: children, youths and adults.
• Initiating and implementing programs in favour of youths through local, national, European or international initiatives.
• Promoting the cooperation and exchange of good practices between civil society organizations at European and international level.
• Implementing voluntary programs at local and international level.
• Offering learning opportunities for youth people, youth workers and adults interested into learning.
• Implementing initiatives in order to increase the active participation and European awareness among youngsters.

EIVA's team has a team of 4 permanent staff and we manage to increase the team having also 4 collaborators, based upon the projects we're involved in.
The activities of the organisation are based upon the expertise of the members, collaborators and volunteers.
We mediate intercultural learning contexts for children, young people and adults in order to strength their competences to enable them to get easily integrated on the labor market and to be better integrated in the society.
We implement activities in partnership with local, national or international actors being focused on topics such as:
• Learning through mobility actions
• Developing/strengthening cooperation between organisations from different EU countries
• Human rights education
• Intercultural education
• Education through games and animation (we coordinate a Board games center in our office)
• Peer-to-peer education having as a main target group the young people
• Drugs consumption prevention
• Organisational development and organisational management
Within the last 3 years the team of Asociatia EIVA was involved in the implementation of volunteering projects (we were hosting more than 30 volunteers in the context of long term and short term projects), training and networking events as well as several youth exchanges as partner organisation.
We’re interested in cooperation with organisations from different countries in order to increase the impact of our activities and to promote the European values. Our organisation is focused on offering relevant intercultural learning experiences both through sending and hosting volunteers, young people and youth workers.
