L’Enfance de l’Art" is a non-profit organization whose aim is to help parents. To that purpose, it has nurseries, kindergarten & a school using Loczy & Steiner pedagogies

L'Enfance de l'Art is a non-profit organization created in 1997. The aim of the organization is to help parents to become more involved in their children’s education, to be actors in the structures that welcome their children and to create a united fabric between them. Its purpose is to create activities for parents in the school and kindergarden where parents and professionals work together.

Our activities :
- Daytime care for a population of more than 120 children aged 0 and a half to 11 years old every working day in a primary school, four kindergartens and a nursery for the little ones.
- A sewing workshop on Tuesday evening for the making of dolls and toys bringing together parents and friends of the association. Surpluses are sold at the Christmas market.
- Every first Thursday of the month an organizational meeting which brings together a small committee of volunteers.
- A parent-child workshop on Wednesday mornings
-Every month, by class or class group, an educational meeting in the form of exchanges, a conference-debate open to all families.
- Meetings between professionals and family, especially whenever a child needs them.
- Training days in human relations oriented towards the presence in the pedagogical relation.
- Two or three times a year, the association organizes events with the aim of making itself known and raising funds: conferences, classical concerts, seasonal festivals, open houses… These annual festivals are also an opportunity to create bonds between families and encourage solidarity necessary for the achievement of the social objective of the organization.
- Creation of a vegetable garden for each class of the school.
- The renovation of school buildings and annexes in the company of professionals and volunteer parents; insolation, laying of floors, water connection, electricity, heating, light partitions, plaster, painting, ... respecting the environment.
The target group of the association are families facing the challenge of education in the 21st century
Since almost 15 years, the school has been welcoming young European volunteers to its Steiner and Loczy educational structures. The main objective of these mobilities program is the meeting (in this case, around the theme of early childhood education) between children, parents and international volunteers and the help provided by the volunteers in childcare facilities, greatly optimizes by the availability of professionals.
Faced with the enthusiasm of these young people and the Enfance de l’Art team, parents and children during those meetings, the school wants to repeat the experience as long as possible with the BIJ, an organization whose objectives we share.
