The Santiago Uno House-School entity is primarily intended to welcome and intervene with disadvantaged young people, with individual needs and at risk of social exclusion. Santiago Uno School-House is:
-A non-profit Social Services organization whose ultimate objective is to educate the "last."
-A collaborating entity of Social Services, with seven single-family homes for young people in protection services (protected) and for young people with judicial measures.
-A private residence for young people who have school and family difficulties, addictions, family aggression, etc. Residence for immigrants.
-Emancipation Floor: for young people on the road to personal independence and job placement.
-Accredited school center to teach Basic Vocational Training, Middle Grade and Higher Grade classes.
-Alternative Classroom for young absentees or with serious school and / or behavioral difficulties, to prevent new school failures from alternative education.
-Entity of Social Volunteering.
-An organization registered as a Development Aid Agency, with cooperation projects in Morocco.
-A non-profit youth cultural association.
-School of Leisure and Free Time with its own programming (Monitor and Free Time Coordinator).
-School of Social Circus at national and European level.
-Film School.
-Social Cooperative, which seeks development in rural areas by rescuing labor and social networks.
-Projects of reception and labor insertion for migrants through the association "Puente Vida".
-Receiving entity for exchanges with minors from Morocco
-Sports club in School Games competitions.
-Therapeutic Community to prevent and intervene on the consumption of toxins.
-Member of Escuelas Pías España.
-Training entity for other professionals and students dedicated to working with young people with difficulties (USAL's own title), as a reference entity in the field of education and youth. The objectives of this association are:
-Education, promotion, job training, social integration and promotion of positive ways of spending free time.
-Dedication to the last: boys and girls tutored by Child Protection Services, young people with judicial measures, immigrants, people with disabilities and young people.
-Educate ourselves to be ecologically conscious and care for the environment.
-Create a critical conscience for a more just society in the Third World.
-Improve the situation of young immigrants through social and professional integration. The school maintains well-organized activities every day, from early in the morning until bedtime. These activities pursue the regulated training of young people (Basic Vocational Training, FP of Medium and Higher Level), the acceptance of them and the development of personal skills and abilities that bring them closer to an autonomous life from the social and labor insertion.
