Description de l'organisation

The purpose of COGAMI is to achieve the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all spheres of society. We work to defend and promote their rights, drive social transformation, and ensure equal opportunities. Through our associative network of more than 55 member organisations, we empower individuals and strengthen communities by creating accessible environments, generating employment, and providing comprehensive social, training, and support services that improve quality of life.

COGAMI develops specialised services such as counselling and intervention for persons with disabilities and their families; employment support through our Information, Orientation & Employment Service; tailored training programmes; accessibility consulting and barrier-removal projects; lending of assistive products; daytime and occupational centres offering rehabilitation, workshops and adapted transport; and a volunteer programme that promotes social participation, awareness, and inclusion across Galicia.

For over three decades, we have been a driving force for inclusion and equal opportunities in Galicia. Through our volunteer programmes, we build bridges between people with and without disabilities, fostering empathy, mutual learning, and civic engagement.
