Descripción de la organización:

Asociación Cultural En Construcción was established in 2005 to promote youth active participation in our region, Asturias (Spain). Since 2006 it has managed "Europa Aquí", the International Youth Mobility Office of Avilés, under the umbrella of the Youth Service of the Municipality of Avilés. Our objectives are:
- To inform young people and organizations working with youngsters about the youth mobility possibilities in Europe in the frame of non-formal education.
- To support them to participate in international and national activities such as youth exchanges, volunteering in European Solidarity corps, training courses, solidarity projects, seminars, internships, etc.
- To host international volunteers with special emphasis on youngsters with less oportunities.
- To promote youth participation at both a local and international level.
“Europa Aquí” is coordinated by Asociación Cultural En Construcción and granted by the Youth Department of the Municipality of Avilés. We work in close collaboration with other activities and projects of the Youth Department and participants in our European Solidarity Corps volunteering programme have the chance to participate in all the activities as well as propose their own ones.
“En Construcción” has one full time worker to coordinate European Solidarity Corps projects and other international Erasmus + projects for young people.
Activities are addressed to youngsters between 14 and 30 years old. One of our main priorities is the participation of youngsters with fewer opportunities.
