The Way of the Thracians Foundation was established with the main activity of research, promotion and preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of Bulgaria. In our main activity we give priority to young people and youth organizations. Our goal is to train them for personal development, stimulating civic activism and qualification. Activities in the field of volunteering and charity. We work with young people from social homes and minority ethnic groups.
We believe that it is our duty to develop and provide every opportunity to stimulate volunteering, solidarity, creativity and entrepreneurship among young people, active citizenship position and intercultural dialogue.
Our work in rural and underdeveloped regions and all identified obstacles stimulates us to continue working in this direction and to organize various activities and initiatives by focusing our efforts on young people with limited social and economic opportunities.
Our participation in various projects of the "Youth in Action" program and the Erasmus + program completed our administrative experience in our work with young people in Bulgaria and Europe. We have organized festivals and exhibitions with the participation of many volunteers for the preservation and promotion of the intangible and tangible cultural heritage. We were accredited for youth volunteering. We work and cooperate with many partners in Europe and we help young people from different regions of the country to improve their skills and to share them, to build new contacts at national and European level. We have the necessary capacity,
intercultural and professional experience. We have participated as partners in joint youth projects mobility in Malta, Greece, Italy, etc.
In our activities we cooperate with experts from various organizations such as the Balkan Institute of Labor and Social Policy, Sofia University, IEFEM of BAS, IAM - BAS, AVICENA Foundation, Associations for vocational training, youth organizations, vocational schools and organizations, regional museums, community centers, municipalities and many others. We have organized and conducted a number of volunteer projects, youth exchanges and training for youth workers. The foundation is actively involved with volunteers in Archaeological excavations together with Prof. Gergova, University of Geneva, Regional Museum - Velingrad,
Ahtopol, Tsarevo, Isperih, Sofia, Kavarna. We organize exhibitions with IEFEM - BAS, promoting ethnographic and craft heritage, etc.
