For the HCA the Volunteering Projects are a unique opportunity for living, acting and working in a foreign country where the volunteer has the opportunity to learn about its culture and social structure, to increase cultural awareness,to develop several important competences broadening personal and professional horizons. The volunteer is provided with safe and decent living and working conditions and receives personal support from the mentor and the youth worker of the organization.

Some of the responsibilities of the volunteers will be:
Designing, Preparation and Realisation of Events: the volunteer will support the project leaders in compiling an action plan for the events (cultural events, educational activities, meetings) in drawing up a budget for the event, in collecting materials for the event (conference: guidelines, background briefs, agenda, etc), in arranging the different tasks of the action plan, in supporting the participants of the events, in compiling the conclusions and in drawing up a follow up.
Workshops and other educational activities: The volunteer will help to organize a series of workshops to stimulate the young people's interest in the fine arts, new technologies, to create awareness about important issues such as the environment, gender, human rights, healthy living etc and to help young people create a better understanding of their cultural heritage, their individual cultural expressions and cultural diversity.
Concerning our decision to apply for the Quality Label of the ESC, we can undoubtedly say that the value of Volunteering has always been our core value in all our activities since 2001 both at the local and international level. Having in our main priorities to motivate young people to volunteer and participate in volunteering activities has been our mission. We believe that our involvement in the Erasmus+, European Voluntary Service (EVS) has been a great success, and we are strongly motivated to continue with the ESC Volunteering projects in order to proceed into investing in prior implementations and collaborations with communities and organisations. In this new program period, 2021-27 young people will have important challenges and the participation of our organization can only benefit the young people.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
