Descripción de la organización:

The purpose of the Alt Urgell Youth Office is to facilitate the realization of the life project of young people from
the Alt Urgell region, taking into account the diversity of forms and models of life, putting at your fingertips
information, guidance, support and advice in all areas related to the process of
emancipation such as: work, education, health, mobility, culture, participation and housing. Also apply projects
and activities aimed at making the emancipation of young people possible, as well as encouraging their participation,
understood in the various expressions that young people have to participate in the community and in the affairs
public, in order to enable them to play an active role of transformation and change in society. Shape
part of the National Youth Emancipation Network (XNEJ) since October 2008, and is managed by three
administrations: the General Directorate of Youth, the Regional Council of Alt Urgell and the City Council of La Seu de
Urgell. Its mainstays are the fact of working together in the same space all the youth services of
the region, which allows us to join efforts and offer a more comprehensive, rigorous and close service for the young people of the
territory, as well as having networking as a methodological basis that is done at the interdepartmental and
interinstitutional with the rest of the agents of the territory.
Target group: Young people (16-35 years old) from the Alt Urgell region (Lleida, Catalonia). Consell Comarcal de l'Alt Urgell is a public organisation, therefore its main aims are administrate the public income for the best citizen benefits...
It is structurated on different areas which have its own aims, activities and target groups.
Our Mobility Service is integrated in the citizen attention Area. It developes different kind of activities. For example, in case of Youth Office, we develope several actions related with youth emancipation, such as participation, career and academic orientation, mobility opportunities: working, studing abroad, volunteering programs, etc.
Related of QL our target grops are youngers and also all our citizens with who our CES project is related (P.E. people with less oportunities)
