Description of organisation

Tallinn Linnupesa Kindergarten has 50 year history. Kindergarten belongs to local municipality. Our name is Linnupesa- nest, from that name we have vision- Cozy nest for everyone: COZY- play areas, playgrounds, friendly atmosphere; NEST- cozy environment; EVERYONE- our kids, workers, teachers, volunteers, parents, partners, friends etc.
Our kindergarten consists of twelve groups (children aged 1,5 to 7 years). 24 pedagogues work in kindergarten. Besides working with curriculum on daily basis, our kindergarten especially focuses on children’s healthcare, environmental awareness, outdoor learning and preparation for school. We are also working on STEAM and free from bullying projects, Our kindergarten also belongs under Eco Schools and it it very important for us because we like green environment and teaching kids to be eco friendly so they would have also safe environment to live in.
