Descripción de la organización:

Cooperación Internacional (CI) is a nonprofit organization that promotes a serving community among young people through volunteer, education, and civic experiences as tools for social transformation.

Awarded with the Spanish Gold Cross, the State Award for Social Volunteering in 2017, and declared an entity of public service for working since 1993 for a “cooperative youth”, CI aims the promotion and development of our society in accordance with the dignity of humankind.

CI is based in 31 Spanish cities and has partnered with more that 100 youth entities, with whom promotes youth activities and encourages the participation of young people in a wide range of social service actions such as socio-educational support with children in need, accompaniment of the elderly, housing rehabilitation, food distribution to families, home renovation, environmental activities…

Also, during the past decades CI has participated in more that 300 international volunteering activities with thousands of young people in more than 30 countries and it is part of International Youth Cooperation, a network of 12 european NGOs that share the core values of providing young people the tolos to become proactive civic actors.
