Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Mission of the civic association Expression o.z. is to help young people develop their personality and potential, organise educational, learning and other activities that contribute to an active and creative way of life beneficial to the community and society. The objectives and activities of the association are: organizing education, trainings, seminars, conferences. We have the experience of organising experiential, sports and cultural events, as well as non-formal education in cooperation with our partners. The civic association was established in December 2010. We are mainly active in the town of Spišská Belá and in the district of Kežmarok. Since 2011 we have been involved in running a youth club 'Face Club'. The activities we are developing mainly through the youth club are focused at two primary target groups, specifically children under the age of 13 and youth over the age of 13 to 30. We implement Erasmus+ projects and European Solidarity Corps as well as partners in youth exchanges or trainings. Our activities are focused on four areas: INSPIRATION (through the Youngsters to Youngsters conference, inspirational evenings, traveller’s and cultural evenings), EXRERIENCE (outdoor activities, sports, larp or experiential education), GROWTH (workshops, non-formal education, foreign language days, and others) and targeted VOLUNTEERING . With this concept, we want to empower children and young people and show them that even education and personal growth can be interesting and enriching for their lives. Our vision is to help young people find the best version of themselves.
