Descripción de la organización:

REFORM is a women and youth organisation, established in 2012, that seeks to empower the most marginalised and hard to reach groups (ages 19 - 29) to effectively participate in public life. We are committed to affecting sustainable change through a combination of awareness-raising, capacity-building, training and mentoring. Our target groups are young men and women who come from refugee camps, villages and remote communities with little to no access to engage in social and political spheres. REFORM's large network of experts and volunteers directly work with them to build their skills and capacities, such as in civic education, the rule of law, non-formal education and advocacy work to mobilise and influence their wider communities, from all over Palestine, as a network of change agents - one that can create a more vibrant, inclusive and equitable society that is responsive to their needs.
In addition, REFORM engages its target groups in a long-term process of transformational change, in which they are equipped with tools to critically analyse their own attitudes and behaviours, and those of their communities, in order to break stereotypes and other socio-cultural and structural barriers, which prevent people from having a say in matters that affect their lives. By addressing various social fault-lines and enhancing the individual and collective abilities of women and youth, we seek to contribute to the formation of a fairer society that promotes equal and active participation of all citizens.
