La Segona Volta is a non-profit association dedicated to the recovery and sale of second-hand items with the aim of creating jobs and avoiding the generation of waste.
We collaborate with local administrations, entities and companies and with the citizens. In 2019 we became a social enterprise as a cooperative.
wants:
1 BOOST THE LOCAL SOCIAL ECONOMY
a) Marketing channel of reusable items (second-hand store) at affordable prices
b) Jobs and internships for the labor insertion of the unemployed, especially vulnerable groups (young people, women, over 50 years of age, long-term unemployed, disabled, etc.)
2. SAVE RESOURCES AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
a) Extend the useful life of reusable products and thus reduce the amount of waste that reaches the landfill
b) Organize activities to raise awareness, train, and energize the general public (workshops, courses, markets, etc.)
The project started in October 2013 and is located in a rural area in southern Catalonia.
All the material that enters is donated by individuals, companies or entities, or recovered from collection centers.

a) Extend the useful life of reusable products and thus reduce the amount of waste that arrives at the landfills
b) Organize activities to raise awareness and give training to the general public (workshops, courses, markets, etc.)
