Day Center "Help me, I will help you" opened its doors in September, 2016, but already became the most favorite place for a lot of kids from Aukstelke community. Kids that visit this center are with different backgrounds, social status, from homes with low income, a lot of them have low social skills, some - emotional or behavior problems. The day center has become a place for them where they go every day after school to socialize, learn and be excepted. Every day children have their routine: together with social worker and volunteers they make snacks, do homework, attend various of activities that address their social skills, communication, teaches different things, etc.
Day center hosts summer camps, winter camps and organize activities for children on their school holiday. The building was recently renovated with the help of different funds and projects. We have our garden, green house, terrace and a lot of green lawn for kids to play outside. Also, we opened another day center in another rural area where we provide the same activities. It's brand new and already swirling with children.
