Cumhuriyet University is located in Sivas that a city in central Turkey and the seat of Sivas Province. According to a 2011 estimate, its urban population is 425,297.The city, which lies at an elevation of 4,193 feet (1,278 m) in the broad valley of the Kızılırmak river, is a moderately-sized trade center and industrial city, although the economy has traditionally been based on agriculture.
The University founded in 1974 and has 16 faculties, 4 institutions, 1 State Conservatory, 5 institutions of higher education, 14 vocational high schools with 57.777 student population. Fields of Activity: Achieve the objectives set out below so as to establish cooperation, development and sustainability with International universities while taking into account the university’s requirements and potential.Student mobility-Teaching Staff mobility-Joint program, project, research and meeting-Reciprocal cooperation in other fields. Organize introductory seminars with the aim of broadcasting International projects, programs, seminars, courses, summer school and similar opportunities to the students and teaching staff of the university.
