The Pro Loco Caiatina, will be the hosting organisation for this Volunteering project. It has been operating in the territory for more than 30 years, involving citizens, immigrants and disadvantaged people in many activities. The most common initiatives are: the care of ancient cultural traditions; support for disadvantaged families; restyling and valorisation of historical areas; Protection of urban decor; activities aimed at dialogue and intercultural exchange (representations prepared by immigrants, photographic exhibitions, exhibitions on symbols, customs and local cultures); artworkers; Labs on ancient crafts with schools. The organization is rooted in the territory and has established partnerships with local actors (youth organizations, schools, consortia and the municipality), often sanctioned by formal agreement. The organization has gained a significant experience in organizing large-scale initiatives, thanks to its assiduous presence on the territory. With a view to Europearization, the proposer invests some of its resources in designing and participating in European programs such as “EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORP”, "ERASMUS" and "EUROPE FOR CITIZENS". The organization employs trainees, some experienced experts in national and international project designing and management, cultural integration, marketing and communication.
