NGO ‘People’ is a non-for profit organization aimed at supporting young people in developing life skills to motivate them to take an active part in the society. The objectives of our organization are…
• To support young people in making positive changes for their lives
• To empower young people to take active part in the social processes
• To promote healthy and active life style among young people
• To motivate young people to live in harmony with nature and behave ecologically
• To engage young people to international dialogue and foster a culture of peace and equality
We target our activities at young people and young leaders aged 14 to 30. It is also our mission to ensure that our programs are inclusive for those young people with fewer opportunities, such as young orphaned people, youth from rural area, internaly displaced people etc.
It is important for young people in the Ukraine to interact with young people from other countries. To support this we organize activities under frame of European programs such as youth exchanges, seminars and training course. We also organize local projects for young people and teenagers. These activities are regular English Speaking Club, photo-quest games, workshops on media literacy and program of human rights games. Our members participate in the local round tables tagered to help young people, especially whose with less opportunities. We use legal methods to demend local athourities to develop bicycle and sportive infrastructure in Bila Tserkva.
NGO ‘People’ is committed to support intercultural understanding, creativity and the breaking down of cultural stereotypes. We are achieving this though developing partnerships and friendship around the world with like-minded organizations.
