Beskrivelse av organisasjon

The senior citizen center in Köln-Porz-Urbach is part of the Catholic parish of Christ the King. The modern and spacious facility has four priorities in the field of elderly care:
• living homes for senior citizens (59 residents)
• House for dementia (36 residents)
• Apartments (80 apartments)
• meeting facilities.
Our goal is to create a place of security and well-being of the residents. In our care and support we are guided by the wishes and needs of our residents. We encourage and support their autonomy, independence and individual lifestyles in order to allow them a high level of satisfaction and quality of life. Our residents feel a bit like home, because the rooms are furnished with their own furniture.

• Economic obstacles
• Geographical obstacles
• Health problems
