About us
We are Volunteer in Morocco, a membership-based nonprofit volunteer organization (association), founded in 2017 for and by volunteers.
We are different from other nonprofit organizations you encounter during your search for a volunteering activity. With us you live and work together with the local community.
We bring young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, and organizations from different countries together to create positive transformation through life-enriching volunteering experiences.
This transformation takes place not just within the young people and the organizations that we bring together, but also within the communities we support.
We’ve been empowering young people to make a difference since 2017 – and we’ve always been committed to making international volunteering accessible to everyone.

To be the leading Moroccan membership-based nonprofit volunteer organization for life-enriching volunteering experiences for young people.

Our Mission
To provide life-enriching volunteering experiences that empower young people to maximize their potential for the benefit of themselves and their communities.

Our Target group
young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, minorities, women and other groups that are engaged and committed to maximize their potential for the benefit of themselves and their communities.

Our Activities
You can submit your own ideas and work on various sustainable volunteering activities that we organize based on your own learning needs.
For example, we offer you the opportunity to provide English language lessons to local youth and if you like sports, we are happy to use your help as a volunteer in our sport project. If you are familiar with website design and management, (online) marketing, social media, photography, filming, editing videos and / or other digital skills, your skills will make a significant contribution in Morocco. This is just a selection of the possibilities that are available for you as a volunteer.
