Beskrivelse av organisasjon

The Directorate of Pavilniai and Verkiai regional parks were established in 1992 to preserve and protect natural and cultural heritage. The Directorates' activity areas are public education and recreation. Daily activities of staff members are different. Few of them are responsible for education (tours, public events, hikes, publication of actual information), few of them are responsible for preservation of protected areas (Habitats of European importance, endangered species and other natural and cultural treasures).
