Description of organisation

The SHG Saarland Heilstätten GmbH - based in Saarbrücken is a nonprofit corporation under public law. As a sponsor of hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, out-patient nursing care and out-patient services, medical care centers and a senior center, the SHG Group serves health care.
Our local educational institutions, a vocational academy and in-house professional training create the basis for qualified employees.
Under the umbrella of the SHG, there are about 2,000 beds and day clinic places. The SHG Group also includes the commercial enterprises Saana Textilpflege GmbH, SHG-Service GmbH, projects gGmbH and APOLOG GmbH. The SHG Group is involved in the blood donation center Saar-Pfalz gGmbH.
Around 5,000 highly qualified employees and state-of-the-art medical equipment constantly ensure optimal care for our patients and rehabilitation patients. In keeping with our guiding principle "Security through competence and friendliness", human beings, their care and their recovery are at the center of our actions. We set a lot in motion for this. Every day.
The Center for Voluntary Service (Zentrum für Freiwilligendienste - ZFD) has existed since 2012 and accompanies young people during their voluntary service. We are located in Saarbrücken, in the heart of Europe. In the tri-border region, people live Europe. We want to bring that to life for people from all over the world.

Unsere lokalen Bildungseinrichtungen, eine Berufsakademie und eine eigene Ausbildungstätte für Gesundheitsberufe schaffen die Basis für qualifizierte Mitarbeiter.
Unter dem Dach der SHG gibt es rund 2.000 Betten und Tagesklinikplätze.

Gemäß unserem Leitsatz "Sicherheit durch Kompetenz und Freundlichkeit" stehen der Mensch, seine Pflege und seine Genesung im Mittelpunkt unseres Handelns.
Das Zentrum für Freiwilligendienste (ZFD) besteht seit 2012 und begleitet Jugendliche während des Freiwilligendienstes. Wir befinden uns in Saarbrücken, im Herzen Europas. In der Drei-Länder-Region leben die Menschen den europäischen Gedanken. Wir wollen daran Menschen aus aller Welt telhaben lassen.
