Descripción de la organización:

The Youth Information Center belongs to Alfafar's City Hall, specifically to the Youth Council. The municipality of Alfafar is located in the metropolitan area of Valencia. Alfafar features 10 km2 and 21.125 hab. The Youth Information Center is a public municipal service for youngsters between 12 and 30.
The services that are offer are the next ones:
*Youth Information: In the center of juvenile information we can inform and orientate you on topics in that you are interested: education and formation, scholarship, employment, social participation, volunteering, citizenship and conviviality, international mobility, leisure, free time, culture and art, environment and consumption, health and quality of life, etc.
*Mobility Information: we offer information related to opportunities of international mobility programs. We participe in Erasmus+ programs and provide updated information about mobility and educational programs that can be interesting for the youngters.
*Telecenter (major of 12 years and with paternal authorization): we have nine computers with connection to Internet and printer, as well as a Wi-Fi, of public and free use, which you can use to realize searches of information, educational activities, search of employment, etc.
*Youth Guarantee Program: We help you to inscribe in the National System of Juvenile Guarantee in order that you have more options of employment and /or formation.
*Ludoteca: it is to your disposition board games, sports material and a space to study and work , individually or at group.
*Youth alternative leisure: we propose you the program " Oci i Punt ": free activities for your free time. Every Friday evening you can take part in games, tilts, contests... In addition, some activities are at night. You can participate in the activities in three ways: as assistant, as collaborator in the organization of activities or proposing and organizing activities in the Espai Jove together with a group of friends. In addition, throughout the year other activities are organized as Halloween, the Festival "Alfafar Fresc", etc.
*Youth Participation: have you an offer to improve Alfafar's social reality? From the Espai Jove we can give you the orientation and accompaniment that you need to start it. In addition, throughout the year we organize workshops, courses and formative days for the promotion of the initiatives, creation of associations and promote entrepreunership.
Scholarships and Practices: Alfafar's Town hall, across the Councillorship of Youth, summons programs for the accomplishment of summer practices for university students and vocational training. Likewise, the Town hall receives those students of TASOCT and Certificates of Professionalism that they request to realize his formative obligatory practices in services and activities of youth.
* Transportation Scholarships for university students, of vocational training and artistic top equivalent educations.
*Formation in youth animation: we realize Monitor/a's course of Free Educational Infantile and Juvenile Time as well as permanent training for professionals and persons interested in the social and educational area in the free time, authorized by the Institut Valencià of the Joventut (IVAJ).
*Workshops and activities of conversational English, technologies of study, it overcomes your scenic panic, word practically, skills for the life, search of employment..
* Youth Card expedition.
*Field of five-a-side football: in the exterior of the center there is a minifield of five-a-side football.
*Table of ping pong: we have 2 tables of ping pong of free and free use.
*Material of camping: we have 3 campaigns in lending for youngsters interested in realizing activities outdoors.
*Room of exhibitions: we have a room of exhibitions for young artists.
