The Fédération Léo Lagrange (FLL) is non-profit organization grounded in 1958 and an actor of social economy operating in non-formal lifelong education. Leo Lagrange community project relies on core values such as equality, freedom, unity, participation and social justice. Mix of cultures and knowledge reinforce democracy. For this reason, Léo Lagrange is an international movement contributing to social change. Léo Lagrange encourages, creates and enriches all meetings by considering diversity as an always renewed source of "doing and living together” and contributing to create conscious and engaged citizens.
To address its commitments to non-formal education and citizenship education, Fédération Léo Lagrange carries out lots of projects giving the opportunity to each citizen to find his or her place in the society:
• Sociocultural, cultural and artistic activities,
• Vocational training, qualification and social insertion,
• European and international activities,
• Education to consumption and environmental protection,
• Community development,
• Training of sociocultural animators, volunteers and professionals,
• Fight against discrimination,
• Vacation stays,
• Educational and inclusive sport.
For more than 68 years now, Federation Leo Lagrange develops programs and actions towards all publics: early childhood to senior citizens thanks to structures adapted to all ages (kindergarten, leisure centers, youth centers, social and cultural centers, training institutes, etc.). Considered as a major actor in non-formal education and youth work, more than 500 public local authorities entrust Federation Leo Lagrange to manage their child and youth services.
In total, Leo Lagrange gathers more than 6.500 employees, professionals of sociocultural animation, early childhood, sport and youth work, working on a daily basis to implement the community project, right by several thousands of regular volunteers' side.
Federation Leo Lagrange also counts a network of around 350 affiliated non-profit organizations carrying projects in many sectors: sport, international mobility, art and citizenship education, environmental protection, etc.
More than a million of users and members from 3 months to 77 years old take benefit from projects, activities and visit Leo Lagrange’s reception areas all over the national territory.
