The Ringsend Irishtown youth service is a not for profit voluntary youth organisation working with young people from the docklands communities including south and north inner city specially targeting young people from Ringsend and Irishtown area who experience high levels of socio economic
deprivation. We work with young people aged 10-25 years to enhance their social emotional and personal development whilst providing opportunities and experiences that are valuable and meaningful for young people to engage in .
Ethos-RIYS recognizes the rights of young people and holds as central their active and
voluntary participation. We engage with young people in what we believe to be
empowering relationships, based on mutual respect and trust in order to
respond to their identified and changing needs.
Mission-Our mission is to promote young people’s personal growth and development,
to enable them to make informed life choices in an ever changing society, while
working towards the enhancement of their own and community lifestyles.
