Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Stara Zagora state opera is one of the first Bulgarian opera houses in Bulgaria with more than 90 years of history. It is a theater with rich repertoire, featuring opera, operetta, ballet and children performances. The orchestra regularly performs symphony concerts with music of all styles and decades. Stara Zagora State Opera has also performed with great success in Europe and in America. Its targets are all age groups from 3 to 60+ years. Preserving the tradition and remaining true to the classics, but also open to the modern and contemporary trends, the Opera House is significant cultural ambassador, which believes that bringing young people as performers as well as an audience is key to success. Another significant insight of its leadership is the need of internationalization of its crew, as well as identifying and hiring young emerging artists that would bring fresh and bright ideas withing the opera crew. This is great chance for intercultural exchange of inspiration and skills, which leads to innovative performances and state of the art productions that spread positive inclusive messages to the audience.
