Description of organisation

MÜNCHENSTIFT GmbH was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organisation and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Munich. Today, with around 1,900 employees and around 3,000 residents in 13 houses, it is one of the largest service companies for senior citizens in Munich.
Our homes - spread throughout the city - offer elderly people the security, community and support they desire or need. The MÜNCHENSTIFT offers a wide range of demand-oriented forms of living and care.
Our outpatient care service comes home to customers throughout the entire city area and helps older people to stay in their familiar surroundings.
Individuality and dignity
We adapt our services to the needs of the individual person. This applies to all our customers. Also for accompanying people with dementia. Important goals are therefore the promotion and preservation of the greatest possible independence and self-determination as well as the consideration of desires and habits, which result from the biography*. Despite all possible restrictions, each customer of the MÜNCHENSTIFT should retain the greatest possible control over his or her life.
