Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Instytut Pracy i Edukacji - one of the fastest growing social organisation in Silesian Voivodeship. The Institute is responsible for managing strategic projects for Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Regional Center of International Debate), Ministry of Justice (Crime Victims Support Center). As an operator of projects realised in cooperation with National Freedom Institute – Centre for Civil Society Development (so called little Civic Initiatives Fund in Silesia) and Digital Poland Project Centre (CPPC), it distributes funds dedicated to develop digital competences in municipalities in Silesian and Opolskie Voivodeship. In 2019 we started strategic Erasmus Plus program - Youth Exchange Mobile App, where we created mobile application for management of international projects. It realizes few smaller international projects among others Polish-Ukrainian students exchanges. Institute hires more than 20 people. It cooperates with several dozen local governments, supports more than one hundred NGOs, its actions reach dozens thousands of recipients every year.

Material resources of Institute: Offices - Institute has offices in Gliwice, Zawiercie, Katowice, Piekary Śląskie, Zabrze, Ruda Śląska, Tarnowskie Góry and Toszek. It’s a co-owner of three social economy entities: Social Coffee Roasting Plant, Incubator of Social Innovations and the third one, Restaurant and Local Culture Center, which is located in the tenement in the city center with 1800 m2 of total space with garden, there are two floors and loft which functions as an office space. Institute has 2 passenger cars. It owns 3 multimedia projectors, 12 laptops and 6 PCs, 2 big multifunction printers with possibility to print A3 documents in colour and 6 smaller black and white laser printers. Every year Institute hires from 10 to 12 permanent workers and around 20 people based on different types of temporary contracts. In relation to lease of the tenement, it has 350 m2 of workspace in the city center with multimedia projector, separate toilets and catering technical facilities.
