EGLA have grown since its establishment 2014 as mainly Finnish association to really European level organization with national offices in May 2019 in Finland, Estonia, Hungary and Bulgaria and planned establishments in several other European countries.
Some of the members are already international organizations. This document is made to clarify the purpose of the association as it is registered in the registration office of Helsinki, Finland and in Brussels EU registration office.
The association is by the rules a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is ruled by a board selected once a year in the autumn annual general meeting by the organizational members representatives and the EGLA Partners. The rules and goals for each year are set in the same meeting for the following year.
There are 3 levels of members:
Individual members , who are eligible of attending meetings and events for free without the voting rights in the association. Individual members have access to all EGLA produced training materials and information. They can do the courses on the e-learning site of EGLA. When a certification is needed, the association charges a handling fee as agreed for each year.
EGLA Partners , who are full members of the association in the consulting or training field. They are the ones supplying the needed consulting and training services to the organizational members against an agreed fee. EGLA Partners can deliver the services after getting qualified and certified by EGLA to deliver such services. At present the services are either Green Lean services or Business Sustainability Development services. The rules for certification as separate documents. EGLA Partners have access to all EGLA materials and they function as the voting members with regards to association .
Organizational members , who are full members of the association as beneficiaries of the EGLA services. Organizational members have access for 10 people for all e-learning services and events arranged by EGLA. Additional people can be added against an additional fee. Organizational members have rights to send a representative to EGLA annual general meetings with full voting and decision making rights in the meetings. EGLA Partners give the members 20 % discount on their EGLA related services.
After opening national office in any country, the national office (either registered as individual legal entity or as sub-association for European Green Lean Association EGLA) have rights to decide the pricing and delivery of the services in their territory based on the EGLA general rules regarding EGLA Partners qualifications.
