The fountain house Oslo Øst is a workplace for people who have or have had mental health challenges. Here you get the opportunity to get out of isolation and into safe, social surroundings. You get meaningful work at the Fontenehuset, at the same time as we give you many great opportunities for help with getting a job or starting studies. All work is based on volunteerism and there is no need for a medical certificate to participate. We have a relaxed environment where you can work at your own pace and there are many different opportunities to get involved in the tasks you are interested in. Being a member of the Fountain House gives positivity to everyday life, helps to cope with mental illness and creates a feeling of coping with everyday life.
