LBDK,z.s. is founder of the legal entity forrest kindergarten Studanka that provides formal education for children of preschool age. LBDK, z.s. is a forest kindergarten that holds activities for children almost exclusively outdoors. Whatever the weather, children are encouraged to play, explore and learn in a forest or natural environment. The adult supervision is meant to assist rather than lead. The day care staff and children spend their time outdoors, typically in a forest. A distinctive feature of forest kindergartens is the emphasis on play with objects that can be found in nature. LBDK,z.s is here to care for, stimulate, and educate young children.

LBDK, z.s as a non for profit organization further runs non formal education for primary school children.

LBDK aim to provide children, staff, volunteers and parents closeness and freedom with nature, deepening the exploration and connection with self and the environment. Create a positive ethos that is reflected in all interactions with one another and the environment, supporting and cultivating respect for the world and others, through mindfulness and compassion. Offer a spacious, challenging, creative play and learning environment. Support the development of the individual and creative expression. Nurture the child's full potential in conversations and interactions.

Cultivate positive relationships within the immediate and larger community. Promote health and wellbeing through physical and emotional resilience, healthy eating (cooking vegetarian food), healthy minds. This is achieved by encouraging: active and reflective time outdoors with the opportunity to look, listen, touch, smell and taste all that nature offers. Of course, free and independent play as well.

LBDK, z.s. has two backgrounds. The yurt and caravan are situated at the small village called Trubská and office of the LBDK, z.s. is locate in the town called Beroun. Both of these locations are situated in Middle Bohemia in the Czech Republic. The yurt and caravan are objects which works as a canteen, work place and a place to relax. Time schedule is from Monday to Friday. Hour of start is 8 a.m. and the hour of the end is 4.30 p.m.

Other activities are clubs - Josífek and Dubínek. Josífek is a club for parents and their children, who would like to join the preschool group for forenoon. These parents and children can the experience the outdoor schooling with specific of the forest kindergarten. Dubínek is a club for children who are younger than 3 years old. They stay without parents for the forenoon. This club runs three times a week.

In the summer time LBDK, z.s. runs a suburban summer camps for children aged 3 to 10. This camp, has always topics to follow (art camp, yoga camp, music camp, English camp, ect.).

LBDK, z.s. like to participate at the local community activities in the village Trubská. LBDK, z.s. also runs cultural activities and invites the inhabitants of the village. Activities or events are mainly linked to the traditions of the region. LBDK, z.s. honors the nature and focus to ecological impact of organisations actions. Sustainable environmental friendly management is applied to the daily activities. LBDK, z.s. cares for environment.
