Description de l'organisation

Projekt-Lebensbogen e.V. works in the field of education for sustainable development based on a holistic concept of ecological, social, economic and cultural sustainability. The work of the association is closely linked to the “Lebensbogen” community. In August 2015, the community moved into a former youth hotel on the border of Habichtswald nature reserve and is currently running a collective café and a conference center with extensive grounds. All decisions within the community are made by consensus and we share our income. The project aims at creating an authentic and vibrant meeting place, where community members, long-term guests and short-term visitors can exchange ideas on socially and ecologically relevant issues, develop initiatives and work on sustainable activities such as permaculture, sustainable activism or personal and communal growth.
We believe that the development of consciousness is the foundation of personal and societal change. Projekt-Lebensbogen e.V organizes a varied range of environmental, cultural and educational events. These include readings, concerts, theater projects, children's circus projects or wilderness walks. We offer seminars on a wide range of topics such as sustainable activism, the construction of alternative thermal power sources (“Biomeiler”), species-appropriate beekeeping and permaculture. We are part of the Academy for Development Potential and we offer courses on building intentional communities.
