Beschreibung der Einrichtung

We are located in Kulen Vakuf, in the middle of the National Park Una. The goal of our projects are to approx art to ordinary people, positively surprise people with unselfish good work, spread positive attitude and cooperation among people. In addition to art projects, the second focus of our work are children and ecology. We are committed to protecting and improving the environment and we deeply believe in the justification of the need to raise environmental awareness and improve our relationship to nature.

The three core values of ATLANTIS KV are:
Ethical: all people are welcome, operating with ethical standards, UN charter of Human Rights and (i.e. profit share)
Ecological: ecological sustainability, minimize waste and emissions for the smallest possible ecological foot print!
Local: local production helps both ecology and the local economy; with a global consciousness and awareness, the aim is to act locally for a global audience

Referring to the our slogan ‚LIVE - WORK - CREATE‘‚ we consists of three main components: WORK: agricultural projects, gardening, facility management, repairing, textile department, production of cushions and sponges, laser printing, carpentry, production of eggs, cheese, milk ,liqueur, jam, dried fruits, corn flour, and other products when available! LIVE: parties, reading sessions, bike rental, hiking tours, yoga classes, rafting, English lessons, child department, and other activities when available! CREATE: all art-related activities including murals, painting of barrels and other equipment, art installations, the Magic Walk, movie screenings, screen printing, soundscapes, and other activities when available! While understanding relaxation, work and creativity as the basic three components of life, art will always be a substantial part of the project although our main activities today are not about art but local production and sustainability.   

Regular activities on weekly basis are related to our Youth Center:    
- Youth Center: table tennis for youth and young adults, Open House play and talk, 5-12 youngsters per event-
- Book club, 2-6 women
- Language course, 5-8 youngsters
-Eco-recycling workshop, 5-8 children and youngsters 

Occasional activities and target groups are:
- Corn festival (food festival) up to 70-100 people, target group local population
- Rakijada (Brandy competition), up to 25 man, local population
 -Dj parties, up to 25 people, local population
-Exhibition and art event, 5-15 people local population and tourists
-Weaving workshops, 2-4 women, middle age group     
-Yoga classes, 8-15 people different age group, tourists and local population 

Beside regular and occasional activities, we have started the goat husbandry, which means we are milking every day and making a cheese once a week. Also the shredder machine is used average once a month depending on the season.

Therefor need human resources to help us continue and grow our project and as we are now ready to participate in the European Solidarity Corps program we would like to host volunteers starting from 1st of September.
