Description de l'organisation

The Centre socio-culturel Louis Braille is located in Saint-Priest, city in the close suburbs of Lyon. It is a non-profit association whose aim is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the locals by reinforcing the social links and allowing each person to be actor and involved citizen.
The organization proposes several services and activities answering the needs of the locals from Saint-Priest city :
– Leisure time activities for children and youngsters from 3 to 25 years old ;
– Educational support for children and teenagers ; help with their homework ;
– Literacy classes ;
– Social support for families ;
– Support for holiday departure and family outings ;
– Support for inhabitants’ initiatives ;
– Organisation of manifestations and events in the neighborhood.

The Centre Socio-culturel Louis Braille has been founded in 1976 by inhabitants of Bel Air neighborhood in Saint-Priest.
