PROGEU is a no-profit association, operating in the field of national and European planning and development. It was born with the aim of contributing to the development of the Italian System in Europe, promoting the collaboration between PA, enterprises and Third Sector entities. The mission of PROGEU is also linked to the promotion of European values, such as respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law. The Association works actively in involving young people in educational and internship activities to increase their ability to participate in the development and decision-making processes of the EU. The Association bases its operations on 3 main macro-areas: information, training and support to its associates, with the ultimate goal of developing the individual realities and transferring skills and knowledge in order to generate value and economic at local, regional, national and European level.
Information
The Association has always been committed to information and carries out its editorial project in order to offer a wide view on the hottest issues concerning political priorities and development strategies, both at national level and in European and international perspective.
Our articles aim to inform about current events and upcoming scenarios, highlighting the most urgent needs and the most promising solutions implemented. The issues addressed are various but interconnected: European policies; environment, climate and sustainability; circular economy; rights and social inclusion; enterprises; technological and digital innovation; innovation; equal opportunities.
Training
Since January 2019, the Association has launched a training course aimed at its members with the aim of providing the theoretical and technical skills for the design and management of interventions in the European sphere using project management techniques. The courses are aimed at those who want to acquire or expand their skills in design to develop their association, business or idea. Since 2020, with the aim of enhancing the training offer that provides, the Association has created the section PROGEU SCHOOL, dedicated to the presentation of learning opportunities that can be accessed, using the services of the Association.
The training course introduces the discipline and the areas of intervention of the Project Management focusing on the actors involved, on the concepts and key tools of Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework Approach. The course is structured to allow the learner to learn the theoretical part and to experience it also from a practical point of view through the use of workshops that allow to simulate the key moments of the phases of the Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework Approach and to apply them to concrete and real cases.
Support
PROGEU addresses directly to its associates - enterprises or aspiring entrepreneurs, Third Sector Organizations and Public Administrations - offering them a support to the activities of conception, formulation and management of projects to be evaluated on regional, national and European funds. To this end, in the last two years the Association has developed three services aimed at different beneficiaries: the Design Desk, the Progress4Business Desk and the SOS Desk for Third Sector Organizations.
The Design Desk offers its members a design support service to enhance ideas and put them into practice. The Desk supports the user in the evaluation of his own idea, providing an analysis of financeability and feasibility, in the identification of regional, national or European funding opportunities more suitable to put the proposed idea into practice, thanks also to a scouting and constant monitoring activity that the Association carries out. Finally, it is possible to be supported in the construction of a partnership, where relevant, as well as in the definition and presentation of the project proposal.
The Progress4Business Desk is aimed at companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs who want to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Regional, National and European Development Programs. The user who turns to the Association receives an analysis of the financeability of their idea, a business plan for the analysis of the market and the definition of a strategic action plan, as well as support in the definition of the project proposal and support in the administrative management of the resources obtained.
The SOS Desk of the Third Sector is aimed at the non-profit world, to offer a concrete contribution in relation to the new regulatory requirements introduced by the Reform of the Third Sector. Thanks to the support of a legal and administrative team, the Association provides support for the revision of the statutory documents of the organizations, the realization of the Social Report, the registration to the relevant Registers, as well as information on the main news concerning the Third Sector.
