The Association for Youth Participation, is a public benefit organization, which members are young and active young adults, who were earlier part of the Youth Municipality of Pécsvárad. The main fundamental aim of the organization is to support and help the local, regional (national) youth initiative.
It is an important goal for us, to still help and support, the young residents of the city (between the age of 13-25). Furthermore, we are cooperating and helping the local youth municipality. Our association in the last few years started to continually focus on broadening and improving the quality of the areas of local youth work.
Thereby, besides on the youth exchanges, we gained more experience on KA2 and KA3 project implementations as well. Several members of our organization were participating in short- and long-term solidarity projects and other mobilities through the Eramus+ programme.

Miklós László, the president of the organization is leading the association full-time, he takes care of the professional and management tasks, as well as of the tasks of the project implementation and account. In the accounting and economic matters, a local entrepreneur is taking part with a conract.
Furthermore, depending of the scale of the project, we are involving more experts, mostly with a supply contract or with a service agreement for the provision of several tasks. The vice-president of the association is István Resszer, who was a youth mayor. He has an IT qualification, mainly he is helping us on the technical matters, and also because he is currently working at the National Tax and Customs Administration, he is supporting us on the legal functioning of the organization.
The professional experience in the members of the association (10 volunteers) are assorted. There are some whom has experience from several decades, in the national and international youth work, although we have some who are volunteering occasionly in the activites of the organization.
A part of our volunteers are the youth municipality’s assembly, which has 20 members. Divers of them are studying at university, and have project implementation experience. Most of them are in the age group of elementary and high-school students, for them the members of the organization can give the proper experience and knowledge. They are all taking part in the system of local youth dialogue, they are the contemporary helpers of the processes, and of the local youngsters.
In the year 2019 our organization went through in a significant organizational improvement, this process is still happening. During the process, we would like to make the base of youth work stonger, also we would like to have a wide range of services, and give opportunity for young people in the region to improve.
