HYGGE is a Danish word that means simple pleasure, compassion, sweetness, all warm and positive. They consider happiness to be petty and have a good atmosphere and feelings.
Here, in Georgia, HYGGE is a non-governmental organization with the mission of promoting the establishment of a modern, educated and developed youth. The organization aims are to support the educational and psychological development of young people and motivate Georgian youth (especially ethnic minorities). Our desire is to change our environment for the better with small steps, to become happier and to feel HYGGE.
Besides this our aims are to help young people to develop physically, mentally, psychologically and spiritually, capturing the level of education and psychological development of the younger generation, increase the involvement of youth in civic activities, increase civic education among young people, assistance and integration of young people from different ethnic groups and nationalities, the establishment of a youth resource support center and promoting volunteerism.
HYGGE, collaborates with young people, provides opportunities for active involvement of the young generation in educational, civic and public activities, organizes regional and international conferences, trainings, courses, educational, scientific and other events on a variety of topics, ensures youth participation in regional and international conferences, trainings, courses and educational, scientific and other events, organizes discussion and educational meetings and engages in social entrepreneurship.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
