The name of our educational institution is Stāķi Preschool Educational Institution. Surrounded by fresh air, untouched nature, water, meadows and forest, at the same time we are only 4 km from the center of the county. In our daily lives we place emphasis on outdoor pedagogy and children's education in the outdoor area.
Our educational institution has 31 employees, 14 of whom are teachers, not forgetting the support staff - a speech therapist and an assistant. Our educational institution is attended by 92 children, 4 of whom have special needs. As a result, we have obtained licenses to run the Special Preschool Education Program for Students with Mixed Disabilities (01015611) and the Special Preschool Education Program for Students with Mental Disabilities (01015811) and, of course, the Preschool Education Program (01011111). We are also an Eco-school and implement this program.
Vision: A modern, nature, environment, human-friendly pre-school educational institution with a professional, open-minded team of employees, who prepare children for basic education, allowing them to develop a personality in a safe and environmentally friendly environment surrounded by a large green area.
Mission: Providing a favorable socio-emotional, developing and inclusive environment in which a professional team of educators and staff, working together effectively, develops a child's desire to learn about themselves and the world around them, individual abilities and skills, thus enabling them to prepare for basic education.
Aim: The main goal of the pre-school education institution is to stimulate curiosity and joy in children to live a healthy, active, creative life and to experience themselves, others, the world around them and their interactions.
Tasks: 1) Creating a safe physical environment and positive emotional conditions to ensure a quality learning process for the child's physical and intellectual development. 2) Cooperation with the child's legal representatives or guardians in order to jointly promote the child's growth would ensure the needs of inclusive education as well. 3) Part of the learning process is organized in the outdoor area, implementing the basic principles of outdoor pedagogy. 4) Use digital technologies in the organization of the learning process in a meaningful and planned manner. 5) To continue working in the Ecoschool program, in-depth study of the topic “Food”, as a result of which to obtain the Green Ecoschool flag. Like every institution, we have our own traditions, Knowledge Day, Father's Day, Seasonal Holidays, Latvia's Birthday, Christmas, Grandparents' Afternoons, Creative Afternoons with Parents, Family Day, Mother's Day, Token Morning, Graduation, International Child Protection Day, Sports events, toy mornings, collaboration with social care homes, project weeks, career weeks, christmas rhymes concert, outdoor lesson days, action days.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
