opis organizacji

The socio-educational youth residential group in Triesen was opened in 1991. It covers the socio-educational need for assisted living in Liechtenstein and offers an inpatient facility for children and adolescents of both sexes. Children and adolescents of both sexes who, due to conflict-ridden circumstances, require a stay outside their family system is indicated. The temporary stay of the adolescent(s) enables all family members involved to recharge their batteries and reorient themselves. The aim is to promote the age-appropriate personality development of the young person and to strengthen the parenting skills of the parents. The goal is the beneficial development of the family system and an age-appropriate approach to the demands of daily life (work, school, relationships, media,...). The JWG has various offers: A core group for medium- to long-term stay, a crisis room for short-term stays (e.g. in case of imminent danger), a special form of for older adolescents (transitional living to practise independence), subsequent outpatient care in an care in an outpatient residential group and mother-child/parent-child living. The JWG also offers aftercare beyond the end of the stay. The care team is made up of educators, social pedagogues, psychologists and family therapists. Our clients are young people aged 12-25, young mothers/fathers, origin, religion and gender are irrelevant for admission.
