AYUDA CONTENEDORES is an organization that aims to assist NGDOs in shipping containers of humanitarian aid to different countries.
A board of directors and an assembly of members governs the NGO. All work is done on a voluntary basis and there is no remuneration of any kind. The demands of our work require a qualified professional level of performance even though it is carried out entirely by volunteer staff.
Our commitment and guide of action is the defense of the fulfillment of Human Rights. We fight to eradicate inequality and we do so by favoring synergies with other associations.
The rigor of the tasks undertaken marks our activity as we work in contact and direct action with NGODs, Associations, Companies and Public Institutions that operate within a framework of professionalism and responsibility.
Our performance has two main lines of work:
1. Collection and storage of donated materials for their selection, repair and packaging.
NGODs have space in our facilities to store and prepare their materials until the container is sent.
The donations we receive and collect directly are prepared and distributed according to the needs and requests of the various NGDOs with which we collaborate.
2. Shipment of containers (and trailers, to destinations where this is possible) and follow-up. We take care of all the logistics for contracting, administrative tasks, tracking and loading of containers. The sending NGDO is responsible for the costs and collection in the other country
