Beskrivelse av organisasjon

The Regeneration Association aims to provide a source of action, education and discussion on the regenerative agriculture and other forms of ecosystem restoration in the region of Murcia, Spain.
The main activity and objective of our Ecosystem Restoration Plan in the area is to lead practices of regeneration, reforestation and conservation of species with the following PURPOSES:
- Preserve and restore the environment degraded by extensive agriculture in the Cehegín area (Northwest region of the
Region of Murcia).
- Train different target groups and do dissemination activities about non-invasive and respectful practices with natural ecosystems among farmers in the area and and the general public.
- Carry out environmental education activities, in collaboration with other partner entities, aimed at children and young people in the Northwest Region.
- Dynamize and support rural communities in the Northwest region of the Region of Murcia.
To achieve that, the Association carries out the following ACTIVITIES:
1) Practical ecosystem restoration work;
2) Reforestation work;
3) Education courses on environmental restoration.
4) Work with volunteers;
5) Networking: all these activities are carried out in cooperation and coordination with other entities in the area with objectives and purposes common or complementary to those of the Regeneration Association

Camp Altiplano is located within the farm of La Junquera, 4 km away from the farm village where 15 people live permanently. It is an isolated location, in a completely rural setting, with no nearby services. Volunteers can access the farm village infrastructure at any time (office with Wi-Fi, washing machine), getting there by bike or with the project's shared car. The largest and closest town is Caravaca de la Cruz, located half an hour's drive from the farm. We normally organise weekly trips to Caravaca de la Cruz, that volunteers can join to do their shopping.
Volunteers will stay in a large dormitory of about 100m2, which can accommodate up to 7 people. The rooms are separated by wooden walls, and they are small and simple. The volunteers will live throughout their stay in close contact with each other, having little space for privacy. Volunteers interested in participating in the project must take these conditions into account before submitting their application, and be willing to live in this context throughout their stay.
